FAQs
A team is classified as an international team if it includes at least one international member.
International members include non‑resident Iranians, foreign nationals residing in Iran, and fully foreign individuals.
For the “Idea” section, teams must consist of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6 members, and their proposals must be at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 1 to 3. For the “Startup” section, teams must consist of a minimum of 3 members and a maximum of 6 members, and submitted projects must be at TRL 4 to 6.
Only non‑Iranian residents living in Iran are allowed to participate individually, and solely in the Idea section. Iranian non‑residents and fully foreign applicants are not permitted to participate individually in this track. Additionally, the Startup track requires team participation and does not accept individual applicants under any circumstances.
The minimum age and diploma requirement applies to all team members, but the maximum age of 44 years applies only to the team leader.
