On Monday, September 14, 2026, a meeting was held with Dr. Saeed Hamzeh, Vice President for International Affairs of the University of Tehran, to discuss ways to develop and expand international cooperation within the framework of the 10th Young Scientists Festival (YSF).

During the meeting, the festival’s international capacities and programs were introduced, with emphasis placed on the importance of leveraging the potential of universities and international scientific and research centers to expand scientific collaborations, identify talented young individuals, and support their innovative ideas.

The two sides also exchanged views on existing opportunities to deepen international cooperation between the festival and the University of Tehran, expand engagement with reputable universities and scientific institutions abroad, and design joint programs in the fields of science, innovation, and scientific entrepreneurship.

The organization of joint programs and events, utilization of the University of Tehran’s international network, and creating opportunities for the participation of international researchers, students, and young talents in the programs of the 10th edition of the festival were highlighted as some of the areas for further follow-up.

Prof. Fatemeh Mohammadipanah, Secretary of the Festival’s International Committee, and Dr. Soroush Moddab, Executive Secretary of the Festival, also attended the meeting.
