On Tuesday, 2 June 2026, Mr. Ebrahim Jamili, President of the Policy Council of the Young Scientists Festival, met with Dr. Mousavi-Movahedi, Director of the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Tehran. The meeting provided an opportunity to become acquainted with the institute’s activities and scientific capacities, while also exploring potential areas of future cooperation and support.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mousavi-Movahedi presented an overview of the institute’s activities, highlighting its achievements, research areas, and scientific capabilities in advancing both fundamental and applied research. He also emphasized the importance of upgrading laboratory equipment and research facilities to ensure the continuation and enhancement of the institute’s scientific endeavors.

During the discussion, Mr. Jamili underscored the vital role of scientific and research centers in the advancement of national knowledge and innovation. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting institutions that contribute to scientific development and the training of future researchers. In this regard, it was agreed that the Jamili Science and Technology Foundation would provide support to the institute.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Shadi Jamili, Head of the Festival Secretariat; Dr. Soroush Moaddb, Executive Manager of the Festival; Dr. Kavousi, Deputy Director of the Institute; as well as Dr. Mahdavi and Dr. Yousefi, members of the institute’s management team.
